DCWW South Wales Sludge Strategy Project
Fabrication and installation of stainless Steel Pipework, Valves and associated Steel Work .
In 2019 JES Group were awarded a contract with Skanska Construction UK Ltd to Design fabricate and install Structural Steelwork to accept a new Huber rotamat sludge screen, Stone
catcher and all associated pipework and pipe supports for DCWW waste water treatment site at Llanelli South Wales, as part of the south wales sludge strategy project. JES have in place a QMS accredited to ISO9001 and provided an in depth inspection and test plan for the project with full traceability for all Materials used in fabrication. QC checks for all workshop fabrications and onsite installation activities which were provided as part of the project final QA pack for plant handover.
From the Initial P&ID drawings provided by Skanska our design team worked closely with the client to overcome initial design issues one being how to seal the inlet pipe into an existing tankroof to
produce Fabrication Drawings and 3DModels for fabrication and installation, and final as built general arrangement drawings for issue to DCWW . All Design was completed to
comply with the following standards BSEN 1090Structural Steel, BSEN 13480 Metallic industrial pipework, WIMES (Water Industry standards), MS104 and MS101(DCWW Standards)
