JES has over 35 years’ experience within the mechanical engineering industry servicing clients throughout the UK. Relationship building is key to our business and this is testament to our great client retention, reflecting the professionalism of the management staff and workforce alike. We have a very strong safety culture and in January 2017, we achieved 17 years’ service without a single recordable injury.
A history of work & play
Proud sponsors of Baglan RFC, with a long-standing history of players that have represented the club, that work at JES Group Ltd. Three generations of family members over a forty-year period, playing at the club. Viv Johnson represented Baglan for 30 years, playing along side his son Justin Johnson (ex-Captain) and now grandchildren; Louis Johnson under 10’s/ George Cox under 9’s/ Charles Cox under 6’s.
Employees at JES have played at Baglan in various roles; Paul Evans (Safety Manager) – Promotion winning Coach, Daryll Thomas (Pipe Fitter) – Promotion Winning Captain, Luke Evans (Welder) – Current Captain, Luke Rees (Apprentice Welder/Fabricator) – Current Vice Captain, Sam Owen (Welder/Inspector).
JES Group sponsor league and charity events held at the club each season. The maintenance and upkeep are carried out via JES workshop and employees.
